This past Monday at NWTV13, New Wave champion “Smart” Mark Bisley revealed his running buddy with whom he’d been seeking to bring to New Wave for several weeks, in the form of the 6’1”, 243lb Shintaro Majima. As he implied after unveiling the man Bisley knows as ShiMa, Bisley and Majima have met in the past and have a mutual understanding which led to the apparent pact where both men agreed to give the other an opportunity when they made it.

It has been reported that New Wave owner Chris Sharp has been purchasing shares in rival professional wrestling establishments. This news comes after the recent signing of two KAMIKAZE Pro wrestlers in Shitto and Morio Aizawa, although reports suggest he is targeting others.

Chris Knite's Round Table |

New Wave's lead Interviewer, Chris Knite, has confirmed rumours about a brand new magazine-style show, The Round Table. The monthly video will contain news as well as exclusive interviews with Gladiators and will even include the self-proclaimed Saviour's Gladiator of the Month. Knite, who rose to fame in FWF, picking up the United Kingdom, Tag Team and Hardcore Championships, is better known for his broadcasting career having produced and starred in The Knite Show, which was praised for its controversial format.

"Flawless" Khris Shane has set out to prove that former Rising Star Champion Pain doesn't deserve to hold the belt and that Consuela Gonzales doesn't deserve to be the number one contender. So far, so good, as Shane has managed to defeat The Insane Hero and Miss Mexico on two editions of NWTV.

An Alliance Between Promotions? |

Recent murmurs have come from the land of the rising sun about KAMIKAZE Pro. The promotion that's decades old has been known for it's partnerships in the past, doing many a joint shows with Neo Japan Pro-Wrestling and AXIS Pro-Wrestling. At one point it even had a partnership with the promotion known as Paradox Pro, the two trading talents & sending them over to their respected promotions. However since the incident that forced Paradox Pro to close their doors KAMIKAZE Pro's presence outside Japan has become non-existent.

Lost Heroes Trophy Tournament |

With the addition of MTB this week on NWTV, all first round matches of the Lost Heroes Trophy Tournament have been announced. Eight Gladiators will be entering High Voltage with the hopes of advancing, but only one can take the trophy home.

Dan Alexander had a brief confrontation with his former employer Corey Casey of Insurgency Wrestling Federation on Twitter. The two had a "twitter war" with Dan stating numerous cases of negligence and incompetence while employed in IWF during most of 2011. The argument started when Corey Casey suggested that Dan come back to IWF. Dan Alexander refused in a not so charming manner.

New Wave Nation Nests in Nevada |

It was reported that New Wave owner Chris Sharp was having doubts about our new venue in Las Vegas. Having operated in the Vegas area before, Sharp was worried that The Phoenix Nest wouldn't pull in the numbers close to PWE, who previously held shows at the company: "This is the City of Sin. There's so many wrestling promotions floating around there and the people know what they want."

Due to injuries suffered at Backyard Brawl, New Wave owner Chris Sharp will not be making an appearence at this week's NWTV. Rumour suggests that the Twisted Genius will be taking a long break to recover and it is unknown when he will return.

New Champions |

At Backyard Brawl, two new champions were crowned. “The Insane Hero” Pain climbed a ladder to not only settle the score with rival Consuela Gonzales, but also to become the first ever Rising Star Championship. And in the main event, “Smart” Mark Bisley did what he set out to do, defeating Sah’ta Thor and Eric Phoenix to capture New Wave’s most prestigious prize.

Dan Alexander's Health |

In the past week there have been numerous leaks of Dan Alexander having cancer. The rumors seemed to have started from New Era Wrestling. Dan Alexander apparently had this condition for a few months. From what we here the cancer has started to recede. This news is not official nor has it been confirmed to be true.

It was recently reported that former FWF Elite Tag Team Champion Marcus Thomas Brody Jr. may be in talks with Chris Sharp. We have been unable to contact MTB regarding this; however we have been informed that MTB will be in attendance at Backyard Brawl on 11th March.
